UGC for You and Me!


Last year, we created a couple of infographics related to content marketing. The Golden Content Triangle illustrates the types of content and Content is King. Context is Queen. Conversion is the Royal Heir, which shows the critical role of content in marketing.

So when NewsCred came out with this recent post about user-generated content (UGC), we were all over it. It basically sums up what we’ve been saying and doing for our clients all along.

It’s a good article on UGC that helps communicate the importance of what NewsCred is calling, “Audience produced content.” Still though, any UGC initiative is a hand’s-on thing that requires strategy, oversight, management and direction and NewsCred does a good job of breaking own the fundamentals in this post.

If you don’t have a UGC initiative in place for your brand, you’re missing some tremendous opportunities to create a salesforce out of your customers.
